Editorial comments: A look to Borges, J. L., Textos recobrados (1919-1929), Emecé, Buenos Aires, 1997 shows that Borges' manifestary production between 1920 and 1922 is as large as aspecifical. Thus, the text considered as manifestos in the 1980's anthology are considered as avant-garde poems by Linda S. Maier (Maier, L. S., "Three New Avant-garde Poems of Jorge Luis Borges, MLN Vol. 102, No. 2, Hispanic Issue (Mar., 1987), pp. 393-398. Also, a "Manifiesto" has been published by Borges in "Prisma", n. 2, march 1922.
